Catch22

Catch22 is a UK social business delivering public services in justice, alternative provision education, employability and family support.

Catch22 is a social business that designs and delivers public services across the United Kingdom, working to build resilience and aspiration in people of all ages. The organisation describes itself as combining the heart of a charity with the mindset of a business, and traces its origins to a founding mission to unite the spirit of charity with the principles of trade. It has been delivering public services for more than 200 years and now runs more than 120 of them, improving the lives of over 140,000 people each year.

Its education services comprise alternative provision schools and colleges for pupils who are outside mainstream education. Alongside these, Catch22 delivers vocational training and employability programmes, including apprenticeships and employment support, as well as National Citizen Service provision for young people.

Wider services include justice work - offender management, violence reduction, rehabilitation and victim services, delivered in prisons and community settings - and support for young people and families, covering child exploitation services, mental health support and family intervention. Services are designed to meet local needs, and the organisation's stated focus is on resilience, aspiration and meaningful social impact.
